Crosslines UK national Champions again!

The 2001 STACK UK Nationals were held over 4 weekends, with three rounds for each discipline. Crosslines entered the dual line and multi-line team events and Martin and Mark did the precision elements of quad-line pairs.

Dual-line Team

There were four teams this year Vortex, Flame, Xtreme and Crosslines. The results are set out below.

Crosslines retained the title, UK Champions three years running.

Multi-line Team

Flying Squad were Crosslines only competitors in this discipline. Flying Squad fielded a very experienced team of Steve Matchet, Simon Dann and Stephen Hoath. Crosslines dropped down to three with Keith James, Martin Linford and Mark Bretherton. Second place but creditable on less than a years competitive flying experience.

Multi-line Pairs

Martin Linford and Mark Bretherton decided to try their hands at pairs flying. As other commitments were going to be high and the two teams had to be given priority, it was decided that they would only compete in the precision elements of these competitions. Crosswinds were in the frame with Flying Squad and Bitter & Twisted in third position, but not too far behind based just on the precision scores.
